Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival

The 126th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is presented by the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance and Foundation. Join Fairmont Sonoma at Sonoma Plaza for all of the weekends’ festivities, including a 5k fun run, live music, Sonoma Valley grape stomp and the ever-popular Grand Tasting! Event proceeds go towards the SVVGA Foundation in support of charities, grants, and scholarships in the Sonoma Valley.

Friday, September 29

• Sonoma Valley Legends Dinner at BR Cohn Winery
  • Your evening will begin with a champagne and wine reception with gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres. As the night unfolds, dine on 4-course dinner by Glen Ellen Star’s Chef Ari Weiswasser paired with a selection of rare library and current-release wines. During a live auction, the singing auctioneer will present a unique set of curated items and experiences not readily available to the public, benefitting our Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Foundation. Cap off this extraordinary evening in our bubble lounge, or dance the night away.

Saturday, September 30

• 5k & Fun Run
  • This family-friendly ‘FUN RUN’ will take you through vineyards, majestic tree-covered roads, and some of the most scenic areas of downtown Sonoma Valley.
• Grape Stomp
  • Assemble your team or go it alone to take part in a time-honored tradition that goes back to the early days of winemaking
• Artisan’s Fair
  • See unique installations and meet artists from all over the Sonoma Valley. The festival is free and open to the public.
• Grand Tasting
  • The Sonoma Valley Grand Tasting is your opportunity to experience the Sonoma Valley’s incredible diversity of wines and growing regions with an impressive collection from over 40 wineries.
