Historic Walking Tour

Led by local historian CW Bayer, this one-hour interactive tour will give visitors a look inside the incredible history of Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, the surrounding area, and the mineral-rich waters than have been drawing visitors to this region for over 100 years. During the tour, your guides will portray some of the most notable figures in Sonoma’s history, including Captain Henry Earnest Boyes, Reverend Thaddeus Leavenworth, and Rudy Lichtenberg.

The Agua Rica Tour occurs every second Sunday of the month starting at 10AM, meeting in the hotel lobby. Tickets are $25 for adults, complimentary for kids, payable at the tour. Private tours may be booked upon request; to check the availability, please call 775-636-2030 and ask for CW Bayer.
