What is the Resort Experience Fee?

  • Some of Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa’s most sought-after amenities are bundled into a $59 Daily Resort Experience Fee per night plus tax and includes the following:
    • Self-parking
    • Unlimited basic internet access in guest rooms and resort public areas – wireless and wired. (Members of ALL – Accor Live Limitless receive an upgrade to premium-speed internet access)
    • Welcome bottle of Highway 12 wine in-room, along with a discounted tasting at their Sonoma Plaza tasting room during your stay
    • Welcome glass of Sonoma Valley sparkling wine upon arrival
    • Access to the PressReader App with +7,000 newspapers and magazines available on your mobile device
    • 24-hour access to resort gym and fitness studio
    • Use of bicycles, based on availability
    • Lawn games, bocce court and fire pits with Adirondack seating as well as an assortment of board games in our Lobby
    • Daily wine tasting (pouring Sonoma and Napa’s finest) from 4:30pm-5:30pm

Where can I play golf?

  • Guests of Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa are granted access to the exclusive Members-only Sonoma Golf Club. Learn more about Sonoma Golf Course and booking your tee time by clicking here.
  • Please note that Sonoma Golf Club adheres to a strict dress code. Collared golf shirts and slacks or golf shorts are required for men. Blouses or golf shirts and golf dresses, skirts, slacks or golf shorts are required for women. Tank tops, other athletic wear and denim are not permitted.

When was the hotel built? 

  • Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa first opened its doors in 1927

When and where is breakfast served? 

  • Breakfast is served daily in Santé from 7am – 11am, or from the comfort of your guest room starting at 6am

What time is the wine tasting in the lobby? 

  • 4:30-5:30pm daily, hosted by a different vintner each day

Do you have wireless internet in the lobby?

  •  WiFi can be accessed throughout our resort and is included in your daily Resort Fee

How much is parking at Fairmont Sonoma? 

  • Self-parking is complimentary. We offer valet parking for $39 per day, $20 per day for hybrid cars

Where are the ice machines? 

  • Ice Machines are located: between 162 & 163, next to room 185, by room 224, in front of rooms 511, 611, 712 and 815

Where is the Harvest Suite? 

  • Located in the north building, 1st Floor

Where are the restrooms? 

  • In the lobby, women’s next to the reception desk, men’s next to the Business Center. There are restrooms at the Main Resort Pool as well

Do you have High Speed Internet in the rooms?

  •  WiFi can be accessed throughout our resort and is included in your daily Resort Fee

How do you get to the spa?

  • When you walk out of the main building, follow the path to the north until you hit the last building. You will enter through the Sonoma Store.

Can I pay a day use fee to use the spa? 

  • Resort Guests: $49 daily charge per person* – Available from 9am-6pm
    Non-Resort Guests: $149 daily charge per person* – Available from 9am-6pm*This fee is waived for non-resort guests scheduling Spa services Monday – Thursday (excluding holidays; based on availability; blackout dates may apply) which must meet the minimum service value from $199 – $229. Advanced reservations are required. Weekend services (Friday – Sunday) hold a Spa access charge of $59 in addition to the service price; this will be added at check out.Treatment values for non-hotel guests: Monday – Thursday from $199 – $229

Where can I go for a walk/hike? 

  • You can go for a walk in Jack London Park or Sonoma Regional Park- the concierge desk has a map and can answer any questions about additional trails

What time does the House Car run? 

  • Shuttle Service Available for rides to Downtown Sonoma daily from 2pm – 10pm. Please visit Valet for more information.
  • Please note that ride-share services (Uber, Lyft) are unreliable in the area, and wait times may be longer than usual. We recommend booking with Pure Luxury Transportation or with a local taxi service. Allow our concierge team to assist in arranging transportation ahead of time by visiting the concierge desk in the lobby, or by calling 707-939-2407

Is there an ATM machine on property? 

  • At the far end of the lobby in the business center by the men’s restroom.

What are the green fees at Sonoma Golf Course? 

  • $175 in off-season (Nov-March), $225 in high-season (Apr-Nov)

Where is the pool located?

  •  Behind the resort lobby

Can I get a late check out? 

  • Late check-out is a request and not always guaranteed. It is best for the guest to phone Royal Service on the morning of their departure and we will try to accommodate the request. 

Can I have an early check-in? 

  • Guests can request an early check-in, but guaranteed check in is at 4pm. Guests are able to pay for an early check-in if they would like, but also based on availability.

  • Across the lobby to the left of the men’s restroom

What time is check out? 

  • 11am daily 

How many rooms do you have? 

  • 226, we can turn Harvest and Carneros Suites into guest rooms for a total of 228. 

Which pools have mineral water in them? 

  • All of our pools are fed with mineral waters.

What are some of the sustainable practices that Fairmont Sonoma is taking?

  • Fairmont Sonoma is committed to reducing our carbon footprint by taking initiatives to reduce waste, such as eliminating single-use plastic throughout the resort. You’ll also find water bottle refilling stations throughout the resort to fill your reusable containers with fresh, cold water with our compliments.
  • All guest rooms will feature large format Le Labo toiletries stored in containers main from 100% recycled plastic.
  • Buying from local farmers, vintners and producers reduces our carbon footprint as less pollution is created during transport. It also helps the local economy grow and thrive.
