In 2022, Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa proudly unveiled the all-new Fairmont Sonoma Educational Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Program was created to support team members and their families pursue high school or college education, and/or participate in extracurricular activities that assist the pursuit of further education. Employees are eligible to receive scholarships of up to $2,500. We want employees and their families to feel free to grow by opening new doors and follow their passion. We believe that limitless opportunities are for everyone.

During the Hotel’s Annual Tree Lighting event in December 2022, Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa pledged initial funding of $150,000 to the Scholarship. In addition, it was announced that all food & beverage revenue during the evening’s festivities would be donated directly to the Scholarship Fund. The Hotel generated $15,000 in Food & Beverage revenue which brought the total starting balance to $165,000.

It was announced that beginning Saturday July 1, 2023, 10% of all proceeds from CaliForno sales made on Saturdays through summer would be donated directly to the Scholarship Fund.
